My autumnal walk down the river.

Being down by the river is one of my favourite places to be. I have a lot of really good memories from there, and overall my favourite time of year to be there is in fact autumn!

On this particular day, of this particular year, with these particular people (my friends Frankie and Jenny) we had all gone down with our cameras to get some memories of autumn 2014 because the seasons come and go (ooh I'm getting all poetic), plus my friends and I are into photography (that's quite important).

Another amazing aspect of being by the river is that there is always something new to notice, take a picture of or admire because the river is always moving and with it brings new stories (definitely a poetic post!).

I love all the colours of each boat along the riverbank, it's awesome to think they're people's homes. I would love to try that out, wouldn't it be so amazing and different to your everyday life?!

Look at the third boat in the picture above...

...it turns out we aren't very observant as we didn't even notice that had happened on the way down, but on the way back we were very confused as to how we simply missed the boat that was quickly disappearing!

Further along the river there is a very cute little pub/tavern/farmhouse that is a family-friendly haven for a Sunday lunch, a cup of tea/coffee or whatever floats your boat, do you see what I did there? because I'm talking about a river...no...just me...anyway, continuing... or a resting place after that occasional walk alongside the river. Once again, it brings back a lot of memories.

Here are some more 'autumny' pictures, that will get you in the season:

Make sure you fill autumn with warm drinks, movies, friends and family because it is one of the most adorable times of the year (besides winter, that's the most adorable).
Plus, it means it is nearly Christmas and that is my favourite time of the year so look forward to my winter posts!
Until next time,
